THE COURAGE OF QUEEN ESTER

PURIM: A JOURNEY THROUGH HISTORY AND TRADITION

A journey to discover Queen Esther and the traditions of Purim

On Sunday, MARCH 30, 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., join us for a special tour of the Museum!

Discover the Story of Queen Esther through a fascinating storytelling journey designed for young and old alike. You will enjoy Haman’s ears, the traditional treats named after the evil prime minister of King Ahasuerus!

Purim, the most joyous and beloved holiday for children, comes to the Museum of Jewish Padua! This extraordinary holiday, which falls in the middle of the Jewish month of Adar, celebrates the upheaval of fortunes and the salvation of the Jewish people-a unique opportunity to have fun and learn together.

At 4 p.m., children will be able to participate in a creative workshop where they will make noise-making instruments together, as per tradition, and then conclude the activity with a snack together.

An unmissable opportunity for the whole family to experience history, have fun, and make new memories together!

Also, don’t miss the chance to enrich your experience with a visit to the Jewish Padua Museum and the Italian Synagogue.

An opportunity to learn about and pass on Jewish culture to future generations!

As a reminder, the 11 a.m. event is aimed at an adult audience, while the 4 p.m. event is designed for families with children.

The event lasts about an hour.

We are waiting for you to celebrate together!

We ask all men to wear a hat to cover their heads.

Meeting point: MUSEO DELLA PADOVA EBRAICA, Via delle Piazze, 26 – 35122 PADUA.
