On Sunday, OCTOBER 2024, we will offer two special tour shifts (11 a.m. or 4 p.m.) to discover together the traditions related to two important Jewish holidays that follow one another during the fall, Rosh HaShana and Sukkot, that is, the Jewish New Year and the Feast of Tents.
We will revisit together first the celebrations that welcome the Jewish New Year to the sound of the shofar, and then those related to the joyous nights spent in the sukka accompanied by the plant composition of the lulav.
The visit will end with an entrance to the Italian Synagogue, the Community’s current place of prayer, and a small snack with friends to taste Bollo, a typical Sukkot holiday dessert.
The event lasts about an hour and a half and is suitable for all audiences.
General or free guided tours of the Museum and Synagogue will still be guaranteed during the usual opening hours (10 a.m.-6 p.m.).
Meeting point: MUSEO DELLA PADOVA EBRAICA, Via delle Piazze, 26 – 35122 PADUA.
Reservations are required at:
