On Friday 25 APRIL, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation, the Museum of Jewish Padua will be open extraordinarily with two special visits, at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
During the visit we will tell the stories of some Paduans – Jews and non-Jews – who played a role in the Resistance and the anti-fascist struggle.
An itinerary to rediscover the Jewish Community’s contribution to the Italian Resistance, through documents, images and testimonies.
We will also delve into the biographies of symbolic figures of the Resistance in Padua, such as Giorgio Perlasca, Concetto Marchesi and Father Placido Cortese.
This is followed by a guided tour of the MUSEO DELLA PADOVA EBRAICA and the SINAGOGA ITALIANA.
The event lasts about an hour and a half and is suitable for all audiences.
An opportunity to reflect together on memory and the value of freedom.
